Frizzy hair be gone
Updated: Apr 14
I’ve been on the hunt for a straightening hairbrush for a while... if you know me, you know I have A LOT of hair and for many years I didn’t brush it. At some point this year I noticed my hair was getting frizzier, add that to the recent weather change and BAM big ass hair days for me.
I knew I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a straightener given than I have clamp style one already. I consulted this guide to help me pick one out and decided that I wanted to spend less than $50 on whatever one I bought. I also wanted one that could get hot enough to do the job without further damaging my hair.
I settled on the Remington Pro 2-in-1 Heated Straightening Brush due to price and cost. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. As soon as I opened it I plugged it in right away and it got hot pretty quick. I brushed my hair as I normally do and didn't have any issues with the heat, my hair was warm to the touch after each pass but not super hot as it would be after using a flatiron. Though, I'd probably be feel more comfortable if I had a heat resistant glove. After about 5 minutes I was done! This normally takes me 20 minutes and my hair looks totally flat after. I was in shock that I could really love something this quickly. I felt like I finally found something that would help me with this crazy bushy hair of mine.
As you can see in the pictures after taking this brush to my hair, I now have frizz-free hair and haven't lost any volume. I love that it looks like I put more effort into keeping my hair straight but it only took me less than 5 minutes!
